Want to help build support for Culture Matters and the work we do, why not download and circulate this leaflet about us!
Culture Matters Co-Operative Ltd is steadily growing. We continue to develop and expand this website; we deliver cultural education workshops; we publish books and pamphlets; we run arts awards; and we're contributing to debates about arts and culture policy.
Why not join us? You'd be very welcome, shares only cost £25 each and you can buy as many shares as you like. This will help us to raise working capital to support our development plans and cover our production costs.
Apply for membership by clicking 'Add to Cart' below and specify the number of shares you would like. In applying, you agree to the Rules of Culture Matters.
Please note that the shares are not transferable and they can only be sold back to Culture Matters Co-operative Ltd, in accordance with the Rules. The society has the right to suspend requests for withdrawal. You could lose some or all of the money invested if the society fails, and have no protection under the government’s Financial Services Compensation Scheme, or recourse to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Or if you'd prefer to give a one-off donation to help us carry on developing our work, you can do so below. Your donation will help advance the 'mental fight' as William Blake called it - the creative and cultural struggle for a better world, which runs alongside the economic and political struggles. It will help keep Culture Matters at the heart of the trade union and labour movement, helping to envision, inspire and build more democratic and socialist cultural activities to challenge our class-divided society, and change the world.
